Bring sketchbooks or a nature journal to practice drawing inside the George B. Dorr Natural History Museum. There are living tidepool creatures, dioramas featuring local animals in action, skeletons, and plants. Drawing is a powerful way to fully see and understand the details of the natural world. Museum staff will be available to assist participants on their self-guided efforts, and has paper and drawing materials available for those who don’t have their own. Join COA alumnus, biologist Greg Smith, for a 45-minute to one-hour walk around the COA campus for both common and uncommon birds.
